It was a pleaseant visit at Restaurant Marienhof. We enjoyed every beat of our viennese dishes - food was delicious. Very beautiful garden outside and inside a comfortable atmosphere. The staff speaks very well english and was very amiable with us. P.S. You have to try out the dessert, especially the apricot dumplinks.

We went with my partner to dine, the very cozy place, the fantastic service was concerned to explain that he was wearing every dish so that we chose what we wanted. Unlike other places you can find lighter food and also at good price.

wiener schnitzel here the best of the Viennese week, so much so that we returned twice. helpful staff, warm and welcoming room with quiet interior courtyard. traditional dishes of excellent invoice, as well as the quality of raw materials. wiener schnitzel to scream with inmancabile contour of potatoes. delicacy the fillet and the gulash (melio the beef.) average supported cost. I would say that the only flaw is the sweet paper quite contained. In short, positive judgment.

we stayed 2 times in this restaurant. excellent Viennese cutlet, the first night gulash melted in the mouth and was fragrant and spicy at the right point. on the second day the stopposo gulash and not to the height of the first, in compensation the pork medallions to the sublimate pink pepper. good salad with grilled chicken. courteous and helpful staff. recommended. right prices.

We have just returned from the Marienhof for the 3rd consecutive night which has to say a lot about the food. Traditional Austrian dishes cooked to a high standard. Over the 3 nights we tried the Goulash, Weiner Schnitzel and Viennese deep fried beef with onions which I had twice it was so good. For dessert we shared a Kaieserscharrn with roast plums - beyond lovely! Don't be put off by the 'shop frontage' - there is a beautiful courtyard through the back, a bit like sitting in someone's back garden, but be warned that they have to close the garden at 10pm to keep the neighbours happy so you have to move inside. The service however was definitely 'iffy'. The first night was good - friendly waitress who spoke English readily. Second night it was busier and the waiter rather rushed but friendly enough for Vienna where the service is never particularly friendly anyway. The third night was not busy at all due to there having been a massive thunderstorm, but the waitress could hardly be bothered at all - we had to find her to ask for dessert and her English only suddenly improved at the end of the night when we again had to go and find her to ask for the bill. Needless to say we didn't leave a tip on the third visit. I would definitely recommend the food here and would go back again. Just don't expect much from some of the waiting staff.
