It was great, even though we only had 30 min before kitchen was closing they asked us what more we wish to eat from the running sushi, and prepared it to us. Sushi is delicious.
Rather small running sushi place but great quality. Fish fresh, nice selection of rolls and tasty warm dishes. Staff was very forthcoming and friendly. € 13.90 during the day is a bargain. Would come again and recommend.
I have been to many running sushi places all over the world, as I simply love sushi.Of course there are way better sushi places with different varieties out there but they do not come at that price range and you pay double/triple the price that you do here. Actually, we have been regulars over the last 9 years and if we are in Vienna we try to go there. Selection of course is limited but still miles apart from the low budget running sushi that you find in Vienna and elsewhere as they serve salmon, tuna, halibut, squid, octopus and veggie versions which you won't find in other places (this incl Sashimi)As they are constantly full, the food is usually very fresh. Also the hot line on top has a very good selection especially the dumplings and the shrimp sticks are exquisite. We simply love the cold coconut soup with tapioca pearls! Hence if you want to enjoy some good food for a reasonable price - this is the place.They recently charge 2 EUR per plate if you do not eat the rice which is perfectly okay as Nigiri is Nigiri and not Sashimi. Usually, if you ask them, they serve you Sashimi as well.
Looking for a place for lunch, we walked in not knowing what to expect. Service, quality of food and prices were excellent.
We were hungry and saw a sushi place near Hotel Beethoven. They were kind enough to assign us with an english speaking staff (i think he was the owner). what we ordered was ok - not sure about how good it was, but at that time it was good for me because I was hungry. But overall, our experience was good.
When we arrived I was shocked that the food belt was almost empty even though the restaurant was almost full... there were only a few kind of dishes left and the food was cold and the sushi was warm... it was overpriced and was definitely not worth it... also the manager was standing right behind me watching every dish that I eat... I usually like to eat the fish on top of the sushi and leave the rice to the end so that I do not get full right away (hit the food wall) the manager came to me and asked me not to do that and he warned me that if I leave any dish I will be charged 2 euros for any incomplete dish... such a rude and cheap way to treat customers. NEVER AGAIN!!!
My wife and I had been going on a regular basis and decided to go for my birthday tonight with my mother and some friends; for once I wanted to eat lightly so I ate 3 plates but left the rice.The chef then leaned over the counter and told us we would have to eat everything on the plates (normally I do). As my wife doesn't always like to eat everything on a plate then we had to leave. We paid the full bill even though it was just a small amount of food and had sat for only ten minutes.I would be too embarrassed to go back to be honest.
Pretty good. Perfect service and fast. If you do not go for sushi they have big portions of other dishes.
