Wir waren gerade in Wien angekommen, es hörte nicht auf zu regnen und wir mussten an einen trockenen Ort. Wir rannten hierher, um etwas zu essen, und bestellten in gebrochenem Deutsch ... etwas. Leberkas ist ein bisschen wie britischer Hackbraten, und wir entschieden uns für eines mit Spinat und ein anderes mit Pferd, was sich beide als guter Kauf erwiesen .100 Gramm reichten für einen schnellen Snack in einem Semmelbrötchen. Lecker, warm und für nur 5 Euro für uns beide ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Probieren Sie es aus, wenn Sie etwas anderes wollen.
Toller Ort für Fleischliebhaber. So etwas habe ich noch nie probiert. Es ist wirklich lecker! Kleiner und gemütlicher Ort zum Mittagessen.
A great place to go for a quick bite of Leberkäs' either in a roll or on a plate. I have tried several of the varieties and find most of them good to very good indeed. But then, it's a matter of taste - I personally think that leberkäs' doesn't need truffles (and vice versa) but if that's your thing...You have to queue but that's not a problem because the staff is very fast.
There aren't many places that still sell horse meat, this place got it and only for EUR 2.50 per piece, which include seats. Overall it has been a good experience, atmosphere was just fine and the price for value marvelous. It's central location makes it easy to be accessed, just come by for a snack, it's a place for meat lovers only.
I think this is Austria's answer to the hotdog. Freshly baked buns with a variety of flavoured meats to make the sandwich. Really delicious, and very affordable too. Well worth a visit when you're in Vienna!
Great little sandwich shop, expect a line but it moves real fast. Have you ever been so hungry you could eat a horse, good news because here you can. I had the horse leberkase sandwich, it was great, mildly spiced on a great roll.
Described to me as Austrian Spam, leberkase is something I felt I had to try while in Vienna, and my research led me here. Having now tried a few different types, it definitely is several steps up from Spam in terms of flavor, but texturally, it's not the worst comparison. Other things that this place has going for it: cute and quirky atmosphere, close proximity to Opera House (perfect for a quick pre-opera tour meal/snack,) and doesn't blatantly cater towards tourists. Overall, this is a wonderfully quick and cheap way to get yet another taste of the local cuisine.
Is not much to say. simply delicious Leberkäse sandwiches at a very very reasonable prices. Half of the price of EAT, Nero etc. and way better. Different choices. I liked the one with spinach the most. You can either take away or eat in, not much space inside though. Pay by the kg, choose the bread and that's it. Taste so good I felt sorry for vegetarians.
