Nice to go in the evening to have fun, to drink a bit. But not very customer friendly, as usually in Switzerland. We tried to put 2 table together (big company), but we were not allowed to do so. Although it would not disturb anyone.
Very nice ambiance, great service ad a solid food selection make this Zug's favorite after work place. Beer selection could be improved, but nobody is perfect.
Nice place to go for a drink in the city centre. This place has a mix population of expats and locals, a large terrace which is very nice when the weather allows to sit outside.
This is the typical place young and would-be young people would fly to to see and be seen in a real city... fact is that it is really the only place of this kind in Zug, and being so close to train station and offices is a big plus.The place per se is nothing special, although slick and modern, and quite small.Burgers are good, but not great (although big!).A good place for a burger or a few drinks with friends.The place you would go to drink a few beers and feel like there is some life in Zug... mostly due to the noise.
How is it possible that Switzerland has a place that has the best hamburger ever? I have eaten at many of restaurants all over the US and no burger comes anywhere close to the one I had at Pier 41. I recommend you stop at Pier 41 for a burger and a beer! I did not rate it with five stars only because of the noise level.
The kitchen really knows their stuff when it comes to burgers! Parisian reviews on burgers should probably be taken with a pinch of salt...;)
Don't go there for the food. The burgers are probably the worst you can find in Zug. The rest is okayish.
We went there twice (dinner before ice-hockey game and for lunch), both times the service was great and the food delicious. We can definitely recommend the classic burger and french fries there, they asked how we like the meat to be prepared, which unfortunately does happen so often. Also lunch menu was quite nice, unfortunately the price is not so appealing. The have the special offer on the day of the game: burger plus big beer for 25CHF, it is really worth the price.In addition, I really like the inside of the restaurant and their menu. Will definitely visit again, not sure thought if I will order something else than burger, because it was really good I want to have it again :)
