Great setting with back yard garden patio. Pretty respectable food -- not the best I've had, but I'd go back.

We ate here as it was next to our Hotel and the weather had taken a change for the worst. We were not disappointed. Portions are large and all mains come with steamed rice. My husband loved the special crispy duck. The fried squid starter was also a winner. Friendly and fast service. Good value for money.

Little outside the centre, bus to Aigen takes 10 mins they serve great food and the staff go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. Outside garden and tranquillity appreciated in summer!

We ate here because it was beside our hotel, and there had been some other good reviews. We're really glad that we chose to eat here as the staff were lovely, spoke really good English and the food was excellent.

The four of us had a very pleasant dinner at Chinesische Mauer tonight. Ir is a neighborhood restaurant which has everything going for it...nice ambience, good food and excellent service, from the waiting staff right up to the bosses.I enjoyed my simple fried noodles with shrimps accompanied by a bowl of tasty wantan soup while my wife had deep-fried calamari, which was excellent. Our two friends on the other hand, shared a very hearty five-dish set with steamed rice...we had to help them with it in view of the large portions. Unlike others we had tried in other parts of Europe, the dishes here were not swimming in oil, nor were they buried in salt. They in fact tasted very good. All in, it was a very pleasant evening spent among good friends, at a very reasonable price of €70. We will certainly return when we next come to Salzburg.

Found this place and returned three times.First night had fish soup and ganban duck - was expecting clear soup but it was disappointingly full of egg, the duck was cripsy-fried and served on a hot plate with a mound of rice - though I was starving the portion defeated me but they put the leftovers into a takeaway carton which made a great brunch - a pattern repeated with the main course each night!Second night I had the spicy salad - essentially sauerkraut in a piquant dressing and loads of it, followed by ma-la lamb which was savoury, stir-fried with vegetables in a savoury sauce, but not as spicy as made out. Finished with banana fritters flambeed - in the UK you might get two but the plate had six fritters on it though the batter was so light and crispy that I scoffed the lot.Final night tried the squid starter with the chao-sa-xian special - there was loads of squid in deep-fried rings with a spicy soy dipping sauce. The special was strips of beef and chicken in a savoury-spicy sauce with onions, peppers, carrot strips and beansprouts. The decor was lovely - I dined in the conservatory with an underfloor fish tank full of koi carp, to the rear is an open terrace with well feature (with more carp) and smoking area.Service was brisk without being obtrusive, and the staff were only too happy to help. Prices around 20 euros a head for two courses or 25 for three including a pot of tea.
