Scotland yard makes up a big part of our annual Ski trip to Mayrhofen every year, the staff are super friendly and it has a great atmosphere, we will be back agin in Feb/March 2018!!
We ended up in the Scotland Yard Pub a few nights out of the seven we were in Mayrhofen and every night was a great night. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Lots of people in there that speak English. Drinks cheap and was to posthotel where we were staying.
Lo Scotty è casa.Il trattamento è sempre splendido: nonostante ci siano tantissime persone, sono sempre cordiali e disponibili a far due chiacchiere.Lingua ufficiale dello Scotty? Ovviamente l'inglese!Giovedì musica dal vivo.Turisti, lavoratori, studenti, residenti...tutti li per una ottima birra tutti insieme.
Lively and loud, proper pub feel. Always a good laugh playing darts here! Always busy in the evenings as most people go here after a day on the hill, if you aren't after the clubbing atmosphere, head to Scotties!
We called in for a drink and quite liked the style of the pub, beer was ok but the smell of stale tobacco is very off putting, especially if you are none smokers like ourselves.I didn't know smoking was still allowed in bars in Austria, there wasn't even many people in the bar.
Had a few drinks with friends, just because it was handy. Spritzer was not cold enough, nor were the beers. Bartenders were friendly, but they looked amateur-ish.
If you like bad beer and the smell of stale cigarette smoke clinging to you for hours then this is the place for you. Hard to get a seat. Why people would want to go into this pub is beyond me.
Good little pub just off of the main street. Live music on a Tuesday was really good and the sort of bands Mayrhofen needs more of in my opinion. We popped in several evenings and it was always very busy. Quite small and not many seats so it got quite cramped when busy.
