In need of a good coffee so stopped here. Best cappuccino in town...so good that I had two...service was a little slow but our waiter Thomas (from Greece) was still good...happy and cheery.
nothing to do with the former sylvain and caroline managers. at the time it was top.At the moment it is a vulgar tourist factory. tables not fitted, crockery towel as a towel, mediocre service and unbreakable wine. ordered 3 fondues for 3 people: served in 2 services under pretext that there was an error and not twice the same cheeses. not proposed entry, not had time to finish the aperitif that the warmed melt was served. a real cata. and a stumbling block to avoid and flee! ♪ It's too bad ♪
This place has had a great refurbishment and has been brought up to date as far as menu choices are concerned. We have eaten there 3 times now and never been disappointed. Their lunch is great value at 24 Sfr fro 3 courses with coffee and mineral water. Service is friendly and efficient. We are locals so quite choosy about the places we eat, can't recommend this restaurant enough it's a cut above the rest.
Wir hatten 50cl Johannisberg für stolze 40.00. Im Restaurant nebenan hätten wir das selbe für knapp 25.00 bekommen! Meiner Meinung nach mehr als überteuert.

Nach einem feinen Apéro am Cheminées wurden wir in der sehr gemütlichen "Theodors-Stuba" an den Tisch begleitet. Nach professioneller Beratung genossen wir ein exklusives und feines Walliserraclette. Die sehr herzliche Bedienung rundete unseren perfekten kulinarischen und lustigen Abend im Walliserhof ab! Ein Besuch lohnt sich sehr!
A nice little restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, offering a range of different raclette and fondu options. The food is delicious and the service is very good. If you're struggling to find somewhere for dinner on the main drag, then give this place a go. It's worth it if you love melted cheese dishes.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but I must say that I was disappointed by the raclette. Although the cheese was good, it comes already melted to the table. Plus the sides (potatoes, charcuterie and cornichons) were in such small quantities.
