Had a very pleasant 3 course dinner and got to try some local specialities like cardons and the vin cuit and creme tarts - all good. Kir royal not as good as elsewhere that weekend though! Imagine the terrace would be nice in summer. Some better signage would not go amiss in the dark!

Great service, nice atmosphere. The place is cozy and not very noisy, you can still have some privacy. The dishes are excellent (try the fondue!). Very nice terrace when it's nice outside! Definitely a must try experience!

We visited this resto on a rainy Saturday for lunch and it was packed with locals. The terrace could not be used because of the weather. The food is tasty...consisting of only Swiss romanche cuisine. Excellent filets des perches with quality Pinot gris from the local vineyards. I'm sure the overall ambience would be great if the weather was better.

Cannot go to Geneva-Bernex without going to restaurant de la fontaine... Simple and typical Swiss cafe restaurant. No chichi. They come here for the quality. It is simply too good... The famous "filets de perches & fries" is the choice of 150gr or 200gr the plate with fresh French fries. They are from the lake and very fresh, butter lemon and parsley... they are so testy. It's a privilege . They did it again. Thank you and see you next time.

The restaurant is in the the village of Sèzenove, a little west of Bernex. It has a lovely terrace, professional staff in any aspect. Its famous for its fish dishes, simple and delicious.

We go often to this restaurant by ourselves or with our friends and we are always satisfied, particularly in the summer when we eat in the terrase --always full of people .. and usually take the filets de perches that are excellent. If hungrier, we start with their excellent cassolette of mushrooms and end up with la tarte au vin ou à la crème, or their home-made griottes! Just one little note for the owner: In these years we have seen the prices going up gradually and now it starts to be a little bit on the expensive side for this type of restaurant.

We came back to this restaurant since we always used to visit it while living in Geneva a few years back. We were pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the food and service hasn’t changed in all these years. Service was friendly and professional,...not exactly bilingual but we were able to communicate more or less. The restaurant has a back courtyard offering outside seating during the warm summer months. The menu is quite varied offering something for everyone, but we always used to get the fried perch filets so we had to get them. We ate a fixed menu that included a starter salad followed by the perch fillets or a steak with a buttery sauce and vegetables. The food was really good, just as we remembered. Prices were also very cheap considering it’s minutes from Geneva. We spent about a head and ate a lot and well, with wine.

A pleasant and relaxed evening at la Fontaine, with its caring service, excellent cuisine and its nice location in the campagne genevoise. The piccata milanaise has been replaced by choucroute now that autumn has arrived, and there is a good game menu. We started off...sharing a casserole of chanterelles, and then had the choucroute (a generous portion) and the entrecote of stag with its various accompaniments. We left happy and satisfied!
