in the last few years I went to luigia and wanted to go back a few days ago. I came to the evening at n and the restaurant was very full, but some tables were still free. the people. at the reception were busy with payments from outgoing customers, so I went to two different waiters to ask if I could sit on two people. They just said no and went away and left me standing there in the middle without leading me anywhere or helping me. extremely disappointing and unrespectful especially of such an Italian family restaurant where they think they would be very helpful and outgoing. they could have pointed me to the bar, if there was no place or directed me to their manager, but just leaving me with a no is reason enough that I will never go back in there, as they obviously do not care about customers.
while we were in genf, we decided to go to dinner in an Italian restaurant so a related to us about luigia and yes told it was fantastic! delicious eating, excellent service and great ambiente. we really enjoy and we will definitely be back. grazie.
they can order in the round everything on the menu and they will be sure to love it. many people just stick to pizzas, but the other is great too. the service is the only dark spot, it can be very cold and make the waiter. they feel like they're disturbing them.
super friendly staff, a place to call home. large selection of food and drinks. genuine Italian ingredients, high quality food. in the did recommended.
Most terrible reception ever! Unorganized, unfriendly, you feel like you are asking for a favor! You wait forever, have a booking at and have to wait for App says show up early. Not really sure why I am still waiting guess coz...of kids. Never again! Improve service, timing and friendliness of staff!
If it was possible I would have left a negative rating. Having been here several times before, we recently decided to have dinner here again. Soon after arriving it became clear that the quality of the service had deteriorated over the years. The staff are...incredibly rude, impolite, go out of their way to ignore you and the restaurant manager clearly does not care about the customers. If you want good Italian food plus good service I would go to any one of the other fine Italian restaurants Geneva has to offer..
We were hoping to spend a relaxing Sunday lunch at Luigia, the moment I finished my plate, the server came to pick the big bottle of olive oil which was bigger than a standard bottle (I guess more than L). He was so careless...that he dropped the bottle on my brand new phone and my glasses which were on the table. All the oil spilled on my jacket, phone, glasses. The sound and the mess it created just made a big anxious moment. The server, not even sorry, to repair the situation wanted to offer tap water for FREE !! SHAME on you Luigia, this situation happened years ago when one of your servers dropped the Aperol Spritz on my friend's white shirt and again, nothing was offered for the repair. And your servers dare to joke about this each time!! IT IS NOT FUNNY, this is not called hospitality. Your job is to serve people correctly, be polite and if you make a mistake, take full responsibility for it. And your food quality is getting worse and worse.
I had some of the best pizza I've ever had which is authentic and delicious along with the Luigia chips being amazing (only when hot). But the staff can be quite rude and unfriendly due to there not being enough of them thus they have...to run around like crazy. Sometimes you have to wait an hour in the cold to get in.
