Wollten doch mal das neue Lokal beim Sportzentrum ausprobieren. Das Konzept und die Ambiance ist gut auch die Tagessuppe( Bündner Gerstensuppe ) war lecker aber meine Eiger Fries waren es leider nicht. Nicht knusperig, pampig und fast nur kleine Kartoffelanschnitte waren in der Schale. Ich lies dann auch 3/4 stehen.

I found this experience a little disappointing. It was nearly £4 for a cup of coffee but it was mainly cold froth. It was confusing too as there were notices saying self service but what they really mean is counter service.
Since I came to Grindelwald this has been my first choice.Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional.The prices are very reasonable comparing to the quality of food and services provided.The outdoor dining has a great view of the mountain.There is kids play yard next to it so you can eat while you're kids are playing.
We found this a good and comparatively inexpensive place to have a snack during the day and have an evening coffee.
This cafe has perhaps the tastiest burgers and wraps we have found so far in Switzerland! And a really positive approach to customer service. Great location - you can take your food and sit outside watching the mountains, or inside in the lounge/cafe atmosphere. Right opposite the tourist info centre.
This is just next to the information Centre, so really convenient, and prices just below average.Had coffees and cakes here, nice basic food. I've passed it several times and it's usually got some people passing from information center, before they get on with their day!
This is a basic cafe but the salad bar is excellent. Usually there is an extra charge for tuna, meats, feta cheese, etc but on Thursdays you can pile up your plate for 7 Swiss francs. That is a bargain in Grindelwald. Nice staff too.
