Der chef bediente uns, kompetent , freundlisc uns sehr sympatisch. Frischkäse aus der Nachbarschaft, Carpaccio vom Weiderind, dazu einen feinen Weisswein aus "ÜSserschwiez". Vielen dank, wir kommen wieder.

Placed for a spectacular view, great for a meal or just a rest when hiking or tobogganing, the terrace is magnificent. The staff is nice, the menu offers different local specialties which are tasty and are served fast. Unfortunately have to rate as "average" echoing other reviews: the portions are small and on top quite overpriced. Overall assume 50% premium for location and view.
Wir haben mit dem Office einen Schlittel-Ausflug nach Grindelwald gemacht und sind von Bort zur Bussalp gewandert. Das Fondue hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt, Service war sehr freundlich!Kommen gerne wieder!
This is where the bus for Grindelwald leaves if you walk down from the Faulhorn. On an August Monday I missed the last one, which left at 6pm. The nice management were happy to call a taxi - a steep CHF 60 to the village, but the alternative would have been a two hour walk. While waiting for my taxi I enjoyed a couple of beers on the Bussalp's attractive terrace with glorious views over the Jungfrau and Eiger when the sun came out. Very pretty old farms are off the road above Bussalp as you head towards the path to the Faulhorn. The road to Grindelwald is beautiful too.
at the last day of our trip we went up there by bus...amazing view in a fascinating landscape..swiss food served inside or outside..try it while sitting in the sun :-) ...we felt welcome there...
Über eine Stunde aufs Essen warten und dann noch das falsche erhalten. Dabei war das Rest. nicht mal voll besetzt. Geht echt gar nicht. Unfreundlich ist das Personal auch noch. Wenigstens gabs eine Gratisglace für die Kinder.
Une halte agréable pour les randonneurs ou pour les touristes qui désirent simplement un vrai dépaysement.Accessible en bus postal depuis Grindelwald en suivant une route étroite et sinueuse De nombreux plats au fromage, ainsi que des déclinaisons de roestis, à des prix corrects; accueil aimable mais évitez les heures de pointe, surtout le week-end.De la terrasse vue impressionnante sur la face nord de l'Eiger, entre autres sommets.Plusieurs promenades plus ou moins difficiles en traversant de beaux alpages sont possibles au départ du restaurant.
